Meeting of the Vice President and Head of the Environmental Organization with the President of the United Arab Emirates

Dr. Shina Ansari, Vice President and Head of the Environmental Organization of Iran, who traveled to the UAE at the invitation of the Emirati side, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, on Wednesday afternoon.

During the meeting, both parties referred to the historical ties and neighborly relations between the two countries, expressing their satisfaction with the growing bilateral relations and emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation, including in environmental areas. The Head of the Environmental Organization announced the Iranian side’s readiness to develop cooperation, particularly in the areas of dust and combating desertification, adding that addressing these challenges requires developing cooperation and joint programs.
